In previous studies with Pseudomonas chlororaphis G05, two operons (phzABCDEFG and prnABCD) were confirmed to respectively encode enzymes for biosynthesis of phenazine-1-carboxylic acid and pyrrolnitrin that mainly contributed to suppression of some fungal phytopathogens.
