This study reports the detection by RT-PCR and molecular characterization of partial RdRp gene of picobirnavirus (PBV) dsRNA in fecal samples (n = 100) from a meat sheep flock in southern Brazil. The analysis of the results allowed the identification of two important characteristics of PBV infection.
