In this work, the YfilerPlus kit was used to investigate a sample of 258 males from Rio de Janeiro. In addition, the previous database of 760 Yfiler profiles deposited in the YHRD was updated to 1610. YfilerPlus markers showed a high haplotype diversity (0.99997), with only one haplotype shared by two individuals.
