Congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDG) are inborn errors of metabolism due to protein and lipid hypoglycosylation. This rapidly growing family of genetic diseases comprises 103 CDG types, with a broad phenotypic diversity ranging from mild to severe poly-organ -system dysfunction.
