In vascular plants, the chloroplast NADH dehydrogenase-like (NDH) complex, a homolog of respiratory NADH:quinone oxidoreductase (Complex I), mediates plastoquinone reduction using ferredoxin as an electron donor in cyclic electron transport around PSI in the thylakoid membrane.
