This report describes the identification of an unusual G26P[13] genotype combination in a porcine group A rotavirus (RVA) strain. In a retrospective study, the VP7 (G type) and VP4 (P type) genes of porcine RVA Brazilian field strains identified in two diarrheic suckling piglets were amplified by RT-PCR and subjected to sequencing.
