OBJECTIVES: We aimed to examine the dynamics of Staphylococcus aureus nasal carriage in healthy adults. METHOD: Selected S. aureus strains isolated from weekly nasal swabs obtained from 122 healthy young adults over a 13 week period were spa typed.
