This study examined the phylogenetic relationship and identification of five Mahseer species (Tor putitoro, Tor tor, Tor khudree, Tor chelynoides and Neolissochilus hexogonolopis) using partial sequencing of a Cytochrome Oxidase I (COl) DNA barcodes.
