A rotavirus G1P[8] strain C1-81 was isolated from a 5-month-old female infant admitted to hospital with fever and severe diarrhea in Incheon, South Korea. To investigate its full genomic relatedness and its group, the full genome of strain C1-81 was determined. Based on a full genome classification system, C1-81 was shown to possess the typical Wa-like genotype constellation: G1-P[8]-I1-R1-C1-M1-A1-N1-T1-E1-H1....
