The genomic DNA from ten isolates of the cattle tick, Boophilus microplus collected in and around Chennai, India, was analyzed by random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) using PCR. Selected five random primers were used for the study of genetic variability among different isolates of B. microplus.
