BACKGROUND: Intracardiac myxomas in Carney complex are significant causes of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality through embolic stroke and heart failure. The genetic, clinical, and laboratory characteristics of Carney complex-related strokes from atrial myxomas have not been described.
