Neurotoxicity is a common side effect of vincristine (VCR) treatment. Severe exacerbations of neuropathy have been reported in patients with Charcot-Marie-tooth disease (CMT) 1A with duplication of the peripheral myelin protein 22 (PMP22) gene.
