PREMISE OF THE STUDY: Microsatellite markers were developed in an economically important plant, Siraitia grosvenorii, to evaluate its genetic diversity. METHODS AND RESULTS: Using the combined biotin capture method, 15 microsatellite primer sets were isolated and characterized. All of these markers showed polymorphism, and the number of alleles per locus ranged from two to 12 across 98 individuals from cultivars...
