Porcine hokovirus (PHoV), a newly discovered member of the family Parvoviridae and the proposed genus Hokovirus, is considered phylogenetically distinct from other parvoviruses. Here, we report a comprehensive spatio-temporal study of PHoV infection in Romanian wild boars.
