PREMISE OF THE STUDY: Microsatellite markers were isolated and characterized from Dacryodes edulis (Burseraceae), a tropical rainforests fruit tree of central Africa. METHODS AND RESULTS: Using an enrichment protocol, six microsatellites loci were developed from Dacryodes edulis.
