BACKGROUND/AIMS: Hepatitis C virus transmission routes in chronic hepatitis C patients, the relationship between the viral genotype and the transmission routes were studied. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Genotyping was performed by using a commercial reverse hybridization method, Line Probe Assay.
