1. Anopheles arabiensis Patton and An. funestus Giles were identified as vectors of Plasmodium falciparum malaria in the Mwea-Tebere irrigation scheme, Kenya. An. arabiensis was the only member of the An. gambiae complex identified from chromosome characteristics.
