OBJECTIVE: To determine the distribution of HCV genotypes among volunteer blood donors in Guangzhou. METHODS: Six-nine HCV RNA-positive samples were collected from volunteer blood donors in Guangzhou. NS5B fragments of HCV were amplified followed by DNA sequencing and phylogenetic analysis.
