We report the isolation of Cryptococcus magnus and Cryptococcus chernovii in cultures inoculated with nasal specimens of pediatric cancer patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The phenotypic characteristics of the isolates are described and their identity confirmed by sequencing of rDNA.
