ABSCISIC ACID INSENSITIVE3 (ABI3) is a major regulator of seed maturation in Arabidopsis thaliana. We detected two ABI3 transcripts, ABI3-alpha and ABI3-beta, which encode full-length and truncated proteins, respectively.
