Three restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs) (MspI, PstI, ScrFI/BstNI) within the human porphobilinogen deaminase (PBG-D) gene have been studied in 47 unrelated patients with the autosomal dominant disorder, acute intermittent porphyria (AIP), and in 92 control subjects.
