Euphausiid krill are dominant organisms in the zooplankton population and play a central role in marine ecosystems. In this paper, we described the gene organization, gene rearrangement and codon usage in the mitochondrial genome of Euphausia superba Dana 1852 (sampling from Prydz Bay, PB).
