A liveborn female with a 69,XXX karyotype and clinical features of triploidy syndrome is reported. Main phenotypical features are: intrauterine growth retardation, hypotonicity, micrognathism, low-set ears, ocular anomalies, syndactyly and atrophy of the cerebral cortex and corpus callosum.
