We describe the changing phenotypic appearance over a 7-year period of a malignant neoplasm of the vulva. This lesion was studied by light and electronmicroscopy and immunohistochemical techniques. The tumour contained both carcinomatous and sarcomatous elements including osteosarcomatous differentiation.
