The distribution of the antigens of the HLA system in 517 erysipelas patients, constant residents of Voroshilovgrad and the adjoining region (the Ukrainian SSR), has been studied. The HLA system has been found to take part in the formation of predisposition to erysipelas and its clinical forms.
