Twenty-six community-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (CAMSRA) isolates were characterized by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) and multilocus sequence typing (MLST) and screened for accessory gene regulator (agr), capsular polysaccharide (cap), and Panton-Valentine leucocidin (PVL) genes.
