Eighty-one strains of Yersinia enterocolitica biovar 1A representing several serotypes isolated from India, France, Germany and the USA were analyzed using ribotyping, 16S-23S rDNA intergenic spacer length polymorphism analysis (PCR-ribotyping) and gyrB restriction fragment length polymorphism.
