Albugo candida is a destructive fungus infecting brassicaceous hosts. The genetic diversity within the A. candida complex from various host plants was investigated by sequence analysis of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region of rDNA and the cytochrome c oxidase subunit II (COX2) region of mtDNA.
