Commercial chemiluminescent DNA probes (Accuprobe; Gen-Probe, San Diego, Calif.) for the identification of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) complex, M. avium complex (MAC), M. gordonae, and M. kansasii were evaluated with 134 clinical isolates.
