A total of 122 M. tuberculosis clinical drug-resistant strains isolated in Central Russia were studied by spoligotyping and genome fingerprinting techniques. According to spoligotyping results 77% of M. tuberculosis strains were distributed to 13 oligotypes, while 23% of these strains were found to form unique patterns.
