Precise location and nature of each of 14 length mutations detected among chloroplast DNAs of Triticum-Aegilops species by RFLP analysis were determined at the nucleotide sequence level. Each mutation was compared with at least three non-mutated wild-type plastomes as standards. These 14 length mutations were classified into 4 duplications and 10 deletions.
