Linkage analysis of two new eye mutants, eye-gap (e) and maroon-eye (mar), in the mosquito Culex pipiens, is presented. Both mutants are sex-linked, recessive, and demonstrate complete penetrance and high expressivity. The gene order is e-m-mar.
