Allelic polymorphism at a hypervariable locus mapped to the 5'-region of the gene cluster encoding JH segments of human immunoglobulin heavy chain H (IgH-VNTR) was typed in 462 unrelated individuals living in the Urals, Siberia, and Northern Kazakhstan.
