We conducted kinematic and cytological studies on "between vein" epidermal cells of the gibberellin (GA)-deficient M489 dwarf mutant of barley (Hordeum vulgare L. Himalaya). GAs affect radial and axial components of cell expansion and cortical microtubule orientation.
