PURPOSE: To determine Alabama's primary care physicians' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding cancer genetics. METHOD: A questionnaire was mailed to a random sample of 1,148 physicians: family and general practitioners, internists, and obstetrician-gynecologists.
