Ataxia telangiectasia is a multisystem disease with an autosomal recessive inheritance. It is characterized by progressive cerebellar ataxia, oculocutaneous telangiectasia, humoral and cellular immunodeficiencies and high incidence of neoplasia and radiosensitivity.
