Arctic foxes (Alopex lagopus) were collected from Greenland and Svalbard (N = 319). Twenty-four were infected with Trichinella (7.5%). Molecular analysis (random-amplified polymorphic DNA polymerase chain reaction) confirmed that all animals were infected with Trichinella nativa.
