INTRODUCTION: Aniridia represents a congenital ocular disorder with partial or complete iris hypoplasia. The disorder is associated with poor vision, glaucoma, corneal and lenticular opacities, ectopia lentis due to abnormal zonula fibers, as well as optic nerve and macular abnormalities.
